Overspending.

No real idea of where my money was going and completely avoiding finding out.

Now, I give every £ a purpose. I know exactly where my money goes. I have a spending plan that allows me to make the most of the present moment, plan holidays for the next 12 months AND put money away for my kids pension, our pensions, investments, long term savings...

💥Want to EXPAND your business? Here's 4 tips t 💥Want to EXPAND your business?

Here's 4 tips to create a more expansive mindset:

1. Take action towards the bigger picture, focusing less on specific tasks and more on outcomes - Sometimes we get so caught up in specific tasks that actually aren't contributing to our bigger goals. This is a great way to think with any hires you make too, what outcomes am I looking for from this hire, rather than what tasks do I need them to do?

2. Call yourself out on procrastinating and use techniques to support you (e.g Pomodoro). When you find yourself procrastinating, remind yourself of your big vision. - Procrastination is a BIG one for most of us. Test out some tools to combat this and see which one works best for you. I find connecting back to my big goal and vision to see the task I'm procrastinating on as part of that can be really motivating.

3. Make growth a non-negotiable and lean in to your masculinity energy to make it happen. Half-hearted attempts won't provide you with the growth you're seeking. Go ALL IN! - When I say Go ALL IN, I don't mean spend 70 hours a week on growing your business. I mean commit whole-heartedly in every action you are taking, instead of giving things just 50% of your energy.

4. Don't sweat the small stuff. Use the 5 by 5 rule: If it won't matter in 5 years, don't spend more than 5 minutes worrying about it. Focus on staying tuned in to your bigger goals and vision. - This can be tough at first, but as the CEO, if we let our energy be affected by the small stuff, suddenly our big goals for the next 5 years are affected by something we will have forgotten even happened by then!

I'd love to know what your expansive business goals are for the rest of this quarter? 👇🏼
